Our experienced, certified staff provides both therapeutic and recreational horse riding lessons and equine-assisted learning experiences. We are dedicated to the empowerment of individuals with a range of emotional, physical, cognitive, and social special needs through the use of equine assisted activities and therapies, as well as assisting our clients in reaching all of their equestrian goals.
Therapeutic Riding Lesson Program
Our PATH certified instructors provide therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children and adults diagnosed with a wide range of physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities. Our program changes every individual’s focus from disability to ability. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to serving the unique needs of our individual clients through the use of horses.

Equine-Assisted Activities Program
Our unique Equine-Assisted Activities Program is facilitated by our Certified Instructors. Discovering the horse-human connection brings clients to heightened sense of self-awareness and empowerment. All work in this program done from the ground. We combine techniques learned from instructors, clinicians, and mentors in horse training to bridge the gap between horses and humans, and in turn, help horses help people.

Recreational Lesson Program
Our certified instructors provide horseback riding lessons to people of all ages. Whether you are a competitive hunter/jumper, leisurely trail rider, or looking to show on the AQHA circuit, we can help you accomplish all of your equestrian goals. We believe that basic balance seat and dressage are the foundation of any discipline, and safety comes first. Our experienced instructors want to help you cultivate your love of riding, and provide you with exposure to a variety of disciplines such as Hunters, Jumpers, Western Pleasure, Western Dressage, Gaming, Traditional Dressage, Showmanship, Driving and so much more.
Lessons prices begin at $40.00 each. Gift certificates are available.
Our PATH certified instructors provide school groups with weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and seasonal riding lessons, before and after school hours. We provide services to both classes with students with special needs, as well as mainstream classes. We provide full and half-day field trips to classes of all levels and ages, year round.
Our facility includes indoor and outdoor riding areas, a lounge area, restroom, trails, and two indoor barns. We can provide short horse rides or full riding lessons, grooming and tacking instruction, games, team building activities, and so much more. We have certified instructors on staff, as well as a certified social worker, licensed associate counselor, school counselor, and psychologist, all to help provide you with a safe, fun, and educational experience your students will remember forever.
Prices for groups vary. We tailor your experience at our farm to fit your needs (based on your student count and population, time available, and budget).
Laurita Equestrian Center Drill Team
Joining our Drill Team can help improve your horsemanship skills, balance, and coordination, and therefore add a new dimension to your riding. There are also opportunities for those with no riding experience to be involved. This group is designed for dedicated individuals who are willing to practice on a biweekly or monthly basis.
Our purpose is to create unique drill team routines that will be performed during schooling show and Gymkhana series breaks, and at the same time fundraise for Reindancer Therapeutic Riding Program.
Membership is open to all and no riding experience is necessary. Two separate advanced and beginner teams are available to meet your needs and level of riding experience.
